This engine is not for young or inexperienced drivers. This is a race ready engine, it is guaranteed to run but as with all racing parts there is no warranty. These engines are shipped with NO OIL. We recommend a high quality oil designed for splash oil systems to provide better protection. Always keep at least 16 ounces and no more than 20 ounces of oil in the engine while in use. Maximum rpm on these engines is about 5200 to 5400 rpm. Connecting rod, flywheel, and valve train are all sufficiently durable with this engine package. We do not recommend any upgrades to these parts unless you plan to use a higher lift camshaft or stiffer valve springs. Purchaser assumes all liability.

Im riding an out the blue the motor throttle stuck on max.. What's the issue every time i start it up now it's take off on it's on
haven’t got to start yet
Got wrong engine and no air filter. Got refund of difference between the two engines. No air filter as of yet.
I'm going to install it on a Baja Warrior when I get to Michigan this June. I'm 62yr old and love to ride the trails through the woods like I'm still 18yrs old. I'm hoping this has a tad more power than the "Generac" 212 thats currently on it. It's not bad (gov removed) with the torque converter but I just need a little more out of the hole and to powere out of the Traverse City Mich sand!
My boys and I have an American Sport Works Marauder off-road go cart that’s only about 18 months old. The stock motor was a 208 cc Honda clone and was badly under powered for that size go cart, especially with my 40-year-old butt in it. LOL. We upgraded the exhaust, the air filter, remove the governor, installed 18 pound valve springs, jetted the carb, and it was greatly improved overstock… But it just was not meant to hold up to that kind of strain and we blew it up after only about 12-13 hours of ride time after those modifications. I took the opportunity to upgrade to this Tillotson stage one. What an incredible piece of machinery! Smooth, linear power, and so much more of it than the stock motor even with my stage one modifications done to it.
I removed the ignition box and mounted it to the back of the frame of the go cart so it would fit. Combine with the juggernaut, this thing is one bad cart now! Get one. Do it.
Its a monster. Worlds better than those predatatos ive been buying. Still need to button up wiring and make a battery box, lights ect. But as far a quality and power goes, this is the last word.
I swapped this in to replace the 150cc gy6 motor, and it runs great, is easier to work on, and gives the rover as much power as it needs. Enough low end to get up the steeper hills, and enough top end to take the rover as fast it really should go... Any faster and it would probably fall apart...
I’m a pretty big guy and i slapped this motor in a mega Moto rigid 80 frame (tight fit but will work) Stock sprocket and 12 tooth 35 chain clutch,(i have the same exact setup and gearing with a stock predator 212 and it tops out at 30mph) let me tell you! This thing flies and has plenty of low end grunt to take me uphills while also reaching high speeds on asphalt.(feels like 50 mph) I’m very happy with my purchase and extremely impressed. I will not be going back to the predator engines after experiencing what TIllotson has to offer! (I am not sponsored and i paid full price for this little beast, it’s worth every penny)
