Stage 1: Coleman CT200's/Mega Moto 212 Performance Kit
This kit added fun to my machine. It added snap and really cool sound out of the header pipe. Sure it’s no HD but still a good time. One negative is, “tuning” isn’t quite right with the carb and choke now. Coleman ct 200ex still flies! Gopowersports
Quick an easy install beside springs needs tools
Works well, but air filter helps but is pretty weak…exhausted works well but is kinda ugly…overall vary satisfied with performance and customer service!!!
Got me up and going….fast!!!
The performance jet and air filter went in with no problem. The issue came when I tried to put on the new exhaust. without the muffler it points directly into the rack where I have a milk crate attached, which means if it didn't melt the crate itself it would still be blowing exhaust fumes into where I keep my lunch when riding into work. There was no way to put the muffler on with the rack being there even if I cut it down as close to the bend as I could. When calling customer support they stated it was an issue with my bike, which is stock? I have seen many videos online that show it mounted with the muffler on and the rack installed and not at all pointing at the rack, indicates to me the angle was changed or wrong. I even enquired if they changed the angle they bend the exhaust at from how they have done it previously, which they said no, attached photo says otherwise. I ended up having to bend the exhaust to change the angle in a vice (don't own a tube bender) which created teeth marks and flat spots on it and cutting off a significant portion. Which doesn't really matter since it is covered by the sleeve I guess. Was just disappointed it was advertised as "plug and play" and was not as such. I will attach a photo of where I've seen it mounted with no issue on a ct200u with a rack and the issue I ran into. Also the vent filter kit I paid for was not included and I had to call to have it sent. Not a big deal though. The exhaust is what frustrated me.
If you’re on the fence about it do it. Totally worth it and I’d get the muffler
Web site is a little confusing to find the correct items
Staff was pretty helpful when I called
The bike rides way better with the kit and sounds amazing ! My neighbors love it as well, 30 minutes into the first ride the cops passed by, had to purchase the muffler !
