You should choose a torque converter if your build meets any of these criteria:

• Off-Roading and Trail Riding: For any type of off-roading or trail riding, a torque converter is the best choice. It makes it much easier to navigate over bumps and go up hills.

• Large Tires: If your mini bike or go-kart has bigger balloon tires, you will want a torque converter because it provides smoother riding.

• Heavier Weights: If you have a large go-kart, a big mini bike, or are a heavier adult rider instead of an eight-year-old child, a torque converter will provide the necessary initial torque.
