If you have ever wondered how far you can push a custom mini bike, the 2025 GPS180 gave us the ultimate answer.
Held in the dirt and dust of Graford, Texas, the 5th annual GPS180 sponsored by GoPowerSports was nothing short of legendary. What started years ago as a wild idea to test our engines has officially evolved into the premier off-road mini bike endurance race in the country.
Here is a look back at the chaos, the camaraderie, and the custom builds that made the 2025 GPS180 our most successful event yet.
The Biggest Turnout in GPS180 History
When the gates opened in Graford, Texas, we knew this year was going to be special. We saw the biggest turnout in the five-year history of the GPS180. Over a hundred riders, pit crews, and mini bike enthusiasts flooded the staging area.
The variety of custom mini bikes was absolutely insane. We saw everything from heavily modified Coleman CT200U frames to fully custom-welded chassis. Whether they were running a reliable stock Predator 212 or a screaming Tillotson racing engine, every rider showed up with one goal: survive the next three hours.
180 Minutes of Off-Road Chaos
The GPS180 isn’t your average sprint around a flat dirt track. It is a grueling, 180-minute off-road endurance race that tests the absolute limits of both the rider and the machine.
For three uninterrupted hours, riders battled through brutal terrain, steep climbs, and deep ruts. Chains snapped, clutches smoked, and tires went flat, but that is the nature of endurance racing. To cross the finish line at the GPS180, you need more than just a fast engine—you need a bulletproof setup and the physical stamina to hold on when the trail gets rough.
More Than Just a Race: The Mini Bike Community
While the racing is fiercely competitive, the true highlight of the 2025 GPS180 was the camaraderie.
The mini bike community is unlike any other in the powersports world. When a rider broke down on the side of the track, there were immediately three other guys jumping in with wrenches and spare master links to get them back in the race. The pit lane was a massive family reunion of garage builders, racers, and fans sharing tools, parts, and stories. That level of support and sportsmanship is exactly what GoPowerSports is all about.
