Product Description
We strongly recommend using the Header Support to prevent pipe from breaking.
Large ID header pipe for the Predator 301cc and 420cc, Honda GX240,270,340,390. Stud spacing on header flange is 2" center to center, outside diameter is 1.125". This pipe is a very easy and simple part to install and it allows your engine to flow exhaust more efficiently which means more power. For best performance from this header pipe add the Predator Performance Air Filter Adapter Kit (KDPRED301-420AF) to your engine.

Nice heavy duty steel! Just what I needed after burning a cheap Amazon header in half. The flange is so thick that I did have to get longer exhaust bolts! I got the brace with it and highly recommend it too!

Nice Looking...
Bought for my son's go kart which has a Honda GX390. It fits perfectly, looks slick, and makes it purr like a kitten. Would highly recommend for custom go kart build.

Should come with shorter exhaust studs.
I was already committed to altering this-I needed most of the bends, but couldn’t do straight center dump. Took 15° of bend out of the last curve and cut stub, welded to increase OD to fit carbon muffler. While welding I added spacers to exhaust flange to be able to use OEM studs. -
Hemi 420cc header pipe.
Perfect fit, looks great, fast shipping, all gaskets included. I gave it 4 stars because I wish it came with studs for the exhaust as the stock studs are to long and I had to go buy some washers to fill the gap between the threaded part and the shaft of the studs. I guess they fixed the issue with it being to close to the valve cover because mine is about 2in. a way from it. Overall it's a great upgrade for the engine.

Looks good, until...
Quality workmanship, no doubt of that.
The way this bends behind the engine places it very close to the valve cover.
However the port off the engine, and the header manifold do not line up very well. The engines port is NOT a perfect circle, thus the header appears very restrictive compared to the stock cast iron piece.
Cutting the stock cast header off, and machining it flat does allow you to more closely match up the ports, and space the header from the engine that ~3/4" which moves it away from the valve cover a bit too. -
Extra...
They should say in the description that to fit the 420cc you need an extra flange.
