The upgraded ARC billet aluminum flywheel is a highly recommended product for engines with valve springs capable of withstanding more than 5500 RPM and is mandatory on any engine sanctioned to a kart racing association. This flywheel features an 8 degree built in timing advance to bring the ignition timing to 32 degrees TDC. The built in timing advance allows you to utilize the stock flywheel key with no grinding or offsetting necessary. Along with the timing advance, this flywheel uses a high strength rare earth magnet that produces a stronger and longer spark for increased fuel combustion efficiency. Weighing in at 3.5 pounds and with a fin design that creates minimal air drag, this flywheel will also help your motor to rev quicker. Be sure to reset your ignition coil air armature gap with a feeler gauge to at least .030" and no more than .045" and torque the flywheel nut to 65-70 ft lbs. It is also highly recommended to use lapping compound to lap the flywheel onto the crankshaft ensuring the two surfaces are mated perfectly to one another.
Fits the 196cc clone engines only. Will not fit Predator engines or Coleman Hisun Engines with the 5/8" crankshaft. Will fit the Predator Ghost.
