With an advertised top speed of up to 24 MPH, a maximum rider capacity of 220 pounds and eight available colors, it is an excellent entry point for new riders while remaining fun for experienced minibike enthusiasts.

99cc Four-Stroke Engine

The GMB100 uses a pull-start, 99cc-class four-stroke OHV engine. Unlike a two-stroke engine, gasoline and engine oil are kept in separate reservoirs, so no fuel-and-oil premixing is required.

The engine runs on fresh unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. FRP recommends avoiding stale, contaminated or oil-mixed fuel. The owner’s manual also instructs customers not to use ethanol-blended gasoline.

Automatic Clutch and Chain Drive

An automatic centrifugal clutch transfers engine power to the rear wheel through a chain drive. There is no manual clutch lever or transmission to operate. Riders simply start the engine, release the brake and control speed with the twist-grip throttle.

The clutch bushing and drive chain require regular lubrication. Follow the owner’s manual carefully, including the clutch-oiling procedure before and after riding. Improper lubrication can damage the clutch or cause the minibike to creep or stall at idle.

Rear Disc Brake and Rider Controls

The GMB100 is equipped with a rear disc brake, twist-grip throttle and handlebar-mounted engine kill switch. Before every ride, test the throttle return, brake operation and kill switch while the engine is off. Do not ride if any control sticks, binds or fails to operate correctly.

Rider-Fit Notice: Age alone does not determine whether this minibike is appropriate for a rider. Before ordering, consider the rider’s height, inseam, weight, strength, maturity and previous riding experience. The rider should be able to reach the controls, place at least one foot securely on the ground and hold the minibike upright without assistance.

Assembly Required

The GMB100 arrives approximately 85% assembled. Final assembly generally includes installing the front fork, front wheel, front fender and handlebar. Assembly must be completed by a qualified adult who understands basic mechanical procedures.

After assembly, verify that the handlebars are secure, the steering moves freely, the front wheel rotates without looseness, the tires are correctly inflated, the chain has proper slack and the brake, throttle and kill switch operate correctly.

Before the First Start

1. Inspect the bike and packaging for damage or missing components.
2. Complete all required assembly.
3. Tighten and inspect all visible fasteners.
4. Add the correct SAE 15W-40 four-stroke engine oil and verify the level with the bike upright.
5. Lubricate the centrifugal-clutch bushing as directed in the manual.
6. Inspect and lubricate the drive chain.
7. Add fresh 87-octane or higher unleaded gasoline. Do not mix oil with the fuel.
8. Confirm proper tire pressure.
9. Test the throttle return, rear brake and engine kill switch.
10. Begin with a slow, controlled ride in an open off-road area.

Routine Maintenance

• Check the engine oil level before every ride.
• Inspect and lubricate the centrifugal-clutch bushing before and after riding as directed by FRP.
• Inspect chain tension and lubrication regularly.
• Confirm that the throttle returns freely.
• Inspect the rear brake and adjust it when necessary.
• Check tire pressure and tire condition while the tires are cold.
• Inspect visible nuts, bolts, axles and fasteners.
• Clean and service the air filter more frequently when riding in dusty conditions.
• Store the minibike in a dry, protected and well-ventilated location.
