After I was informed carb was never shipped days after I received Email with tracking number, that's when I cancelled order
I was pleasantly surprised when I got the carb and verified it was the real deal.
If your bowl continually overflows, you need the smaller needle and seat that they sell here at GPS. Also, you may still need to install a fuel bypass line that goes back to your tank to relieve the extra fuel pressure from your pulse pump. After I did this, my carb was perfect and my Tillotson 212 ran great!
With the gov. removed, ported head, and cam this carb made a huge difference on how fast the engine revs! Very Happy! If running a pulse pump you have to change the needle seat it will not right.
Carb was great till the over flow boat keeps leaking and won’t stop pouring out gas,not a happy customer
Shane, the reason your carb is leaking from the overflow id imagine is because you are using a fuel pump, and you have not replaced the needle valve. They sell a replacement needle valve here on the website that I recommend you buy specifically for your issue! Should fix your problem. Good luck! Maybe GPS can pass this info along to you.
Just wish these carbs weren't sold out everywhere TwT
Carb works great but can not get it to stop leaking from the over flow I purchased the 140 main jet and 17.5 pilot jet and 1.5 needle vavle still leaking i been adjusting the float for days i have adjusted carbs before never had a problem this one is challenging me been working on it for days and still leaking
Have not run the engine with the new carb, so I can't comment on power gains, but I am very excited to do so because I can tell right off the bat that this carb is going to kick. The stock Predator 212 carb is embarrassingly small/restrictive in comparison to this fine piece of aluminum. I used to lament how nobody these days makes quality carbs with mixture adjustments, brass floats, and cast aluminum bowls. Well I hadn't seen a Mikuni before; this little carb has it all. A little pricey but the quality of Japanese workmanship makes it totally worth it. Everything fits perfectly and finishes are beautiful. Very very impressed. I'm sold on Mikuni carburetors.
This carb runs great 1 pull start ups. No leaks. No hesitation at all. It does not look like the photo on the website but it looks exactly like the Chinese one. This makes me wonder if I have a genuine or not. There is only mixture adjustments on the bottom where the photo has the side adjustments.
