GoPowerSports 30 Series Torque Converter Kit
Check Fitment Before Ordering
This kit requires a standard 3/4" (.750") horizontal keyed engine crankshaft. Measure your crankshaft and check its keyway and length before ordering.
- Some newer Predator engines may have crankshafts that measure slightly larger than 3/4".
- This kit does not fit the 16mm crankshafts used on many stock Coleman mini bikes. See our Coleman CT200 Series Torque Converter Kit.
- If your build needs extra engine clearance, select “TAV Kit & Riser Kit” in the options above. The “TAV Kit Only” option does not include the riser.
Get stronger takeoff and smoother automatic gearing on a compatible go-kart, mini bike, or utility build. This 30 Series asymmetrical torque converter changes its drive ratio as engine speed increases, helping with low-speed pull and hill climbing. Properly matched gearing, tires, engine, and vehicle setup can also provide approximately 10% overdrive at higher speeds.

- 30 Series driver clutch: 3/4" bore
- 30 Series driven pulley: 6" diameter with 5/8" bore
- Backplate: Cast aluminum assembly with pre-installed bearings
- Two sprocket options: 12-tooth for #35 chain and 10-tooth for #40, #41, or #420 chain
- Drive belt: 725 asymmetrical belt
- Cover: Standard plastic 30 Series torque converter cover
- Mounting hardware
Riser kit: Included only when you select “TAV Kit & Riser Kit” above. Check your build for engine, frame, tire, and backplate clearance before installation.
Chain and Sprocket Fitment
Use the 12-tooth sprocket with #35 chain or the 10-tooth sprocket with #40, #41, or #420 chain. Match the sprocket to your chain size; do not mix chain pitches.
Optional Add-Ons
- Spare belt: Keep a 725 asymmetrical drive belt on hand for maintenance.
- High-RPM builds: Consider the Juggernaut Super 30 Series Driver for an appropriate performance setup.
- Clear cover: The clear 30 Series cover replaces the standard plastic cover already included with this kit.
Installation Requirements
Builder’s Tech Note
- Verify crankshaft diameter, keyway, crankshaft length, and engine mounting pattern.
- Check clearance around the backplate, driven pulley, belt, chain, tire, and frame. A riser may be needed for your setup.
- Secure the driver, driven pulley, jackshaft hardware, sprocket, and engine mounting bolts using the applicable torque specifications.
- Check belt and chain alignment before the first ride.
- Verify throttle return, kill-switch operation, brakes, cover, and all fasteners before riding.
