40 Series Driver 1" Bore, Comet

Bought this after the poor quality driver of the Blast LED kit failed as the weight grooves inside wore out to crap to where the engine at idle would be 25% engaged, making it a real hazard to stop signs or stopped cars, and stalling out since the driver was not going to rotate back into the bell thing away from the belt. Orig Comet quality is witnessed as my top speed went from a mid 42 to now 55, along with crisper more effective acceleration. Worth the money most definitely on a tough low torque hemi 458cc.

Purchased this item to replace original comet clutch that came on my American Sportsworks UTV which was purchased approx 12 years ago. Clutch was installed along with new drive belt. UTV responds as if it was new after installation of the new clutch. I highly recommend this clutch, the original comet clutch lasted 12 years without hardly any maintenance or lubication through mud, water, sand and saltwater. You won’t go wrong purchasing this comet product.

It does the job,far better than the take off parts,worth the money

Bought for a golf cart project. Works excellent as advertised. I bought the cheap knock off. Did not work right. I recommend the comet.
