79cc 4-Stroke OHV Gasoline Engine with 5/8" Crankshaft

Looking for a compact replacement engine for a Mega Moto 80 mini bike or a lightweight custom build? The 152F-3 79cc 4-Stroke OHV Gasoline Engine offers a small footprint, manageable weight and a 5/8" diameter PTO crankshaft for compatible mini bike, go-kart and other light-duty applications.

⚠️ IMPORTANT CRANKSHAFT NOTE: This engine has a 5/8" diameter output shaft. It requires a clutch or other drive component with a compatible 5/8" bore. A standard 3/4" bore clutch commonly used on 196cc and 212cc engines will not fit this crankshaft.

IMPORTANT ENGINE FITMENT NOTE: This engine uses a compact mounting footprint and does not match the standard 98cc, 196cc or 212cc engine mounting pattern. It also does not include a fuel tank or an additional engine adapter plate. This engine is a direct fit for the Mega Moto 80 mini bike frame. For other applications, carefully compare the engine dimensions, mounting pattern, crankshaft location and available clearance before ordering.

Crankshaft and Drivetrain Compatibility

This engine is equipped with a 5/8" diameter PTO crankshaft. Before ordering a clutch, torque-converter driver, pulley or other drive component, verify all of the following:

• The drive component has a 5/8" bore
• The key and keyway dimensions are compatible
• The crankshaft length is sufficient for the selected drive component
• The clutch or pulley retention method is compatible with the crankshaft
• The sprocket or pulley aligns correctly with the rear drivetrain
• The clutch sprocket matches the vehicle’s chain pitch

Do not order a clutch based on engine displacement alone. Many larger 196cc and 212cc engines use a 3/4" crankshaft, while this compact 79cc engine uses a 5/8" crankshaft.

Recommended Clutch:

• 12T Centrifugal Clutch, 5/8" Bore, #35 Chain
