This 30 Series TAV Kit is a quality aftermarket reproduction of the Comet made TAV2 Torque Converter Kit. Designed to be used on go-karts, mini-bikes and wake wrenches with engine sizes 3hp to 7hp. This is a must on live axle go-karts especially those with rear tires larger than 14" tall. A centrifugal clutch will not pull or hold up to these demands. For your convenience this kit comes with both sprockets, a #35 chain 12 tooth sprocket and the #41/40/420 chain with the #10 tooth sprocket. (This is not made by Comet)

It's a great torque converter comes with literally everything you need to install. Way better then Amazon tc, that I had to replace every part on twice.Only problem I had is the driver ,for the crankshaft,won't slide onto the crankshaft.
You will have to modify this on a MB200-2/MB200 bike, cutting out the part for the chain. Seems like it would have no issue with the Mega moto 212. Pulley mounted on engine shaft has a lot of play which produces metallic rattles. Bought two, both do it. Added risers to my kits and one was decent, the other very sharp.
I hated the jack shaft in my mini bike changed it to a torque converter but the driver was too big!! So we got a 212 ghost I don’t suggest using a high reving engine on it…. Got the stage 2 kit for my engine and that killed the driver
Kit seems good overall and I do notice a increase in performance. A couple things to note, based on my experience. I installed with the riser kit and was able to fit everything without having to install the stage 1 kit (still plan to do that later). The bolts provided are the wrong thread for mounting to the engine, so you will need to head to the store for the correct bolts. The cover will not fit without some serious cutting. For me I had to cut not just to clear the chain but also the lower frame, which resulted in having to cut off the rearmost hole on the cover that should be used for mounting the cover. Also, to clear the back plate I had to cut down the rear oil plug to get everything to fit up.
100% recommend i put it on my 224 swapped manco scirpion and 212 stage one (also a great kit) ct200u and now i pop wheelies thank you go power sports
I bought this kit for my modded Coleman bt200x with a predator 212 with the stage one kit and the Autolite 3910X Spark Plug and the all around performance on hilly winding roads is excellent my top speed with the governor still active but spring moved to the farthest hole was 45mph and runs great!!!! On the Coleman bt200x you need the optional spacers and there is a bar in between the back of the engine and front of the back tire that has to be cut to fit the torque converter sadly you have to cut it so be aware that you have to remove it. Overall a good buy/buys and I recommend these part whole heartedly. There are multiple YouTubers like red beards garage that have wonderful guides for installation, and this company has videos on the installation as well.
Got a 224 from harbor freight to replace a 196cc on ct200uex. The tourqe converter engagement is at 3000rpm, idk if that's normal but seems very high, stock motor maxing out at 4200rpm to get going from a stop its instantly going up to 3900rpm not sure longevity of motor at the rpms
Where can I buy just the mount ?? A bearing broke and just the inner ring and balls came out. The outter ring is still stuck. But I don’t wanna get a whole new torque converter
Sent wrong hardware. Have to go to hardware store to get correct bolts before I can even install
I haven’t had a chance to install it yet, but after unboxing it the build quality surpassed my expectations.
