I took a chance and bought this pair of coils for a Honda GX360. It uses the same mounting bolt pattern of many Hondas and Honda clones. The GX360 has 4 magnets on the interior of the flywheel (5 total including the ignition magnet) and I was able to measure about 22V AC at high engine speed. I cut off the connector and used the one from my old coil and it worked properly with the OEM rectifier/regulator. As a result I was able to fix my no-charging problem without springing for the >$120 OEM coil.
The short story is that you should be able to use this to replace a charging coil on many Hondas or Honda clones.
You need a 3 magnet fly wheel if you order a Honda 3 magnet fly wheel it only work on gx200 and nonhemi predator 212 and a Ironton 208cc it does not work on hemi predator because they fully rebuild it my mistake was that I did not buy a 3 magnet fly wheel so I thought it was trash but then I did research and got a 3 magnet fly wheel and the light I put turned on
Wanted to know how many amps or watts it is.
Guessing 120 watt 10 amp?
