Product Description
This is a direct replacement for your Predator 212cc or any Honda 6.5hp clone carburetor. Under load the fuel injection is amazing, it just keeps on pulling. No more changing jets, this system allows you to adjust fuel mixture without changing jets (manual adjustment).
It’s a fully integrated fuel system that combines a form of mechanical fuel injection with enhanced atomization and accelerated fuel flow. With the Tillotson TCT technology, we are able to map performance directly to the engine, increasing and decreasing the fuel/air mixture at each load point to provide the engine with optimum performance with the lowest possible emissions. Traditional carburetors can only add fuel as the engine accelerates, making it difficult to adjust to lean spots and impossible to reduce fuel along the progression. With the Tillotson TCT technology, we can add or subtract the fuel supply wherever and whenever desired in the acceleration curve. We can also provide more fuel at idle and less fuel at WOT to make starting easier and increasing power while still lowering overall emissions.
- Direct replacement for Honda clone carburetors
- Under load maintains rpm
- Atomization makes for improved performance, off the line as well as top speed.
The all new big bore carburetor from Tillotson. The TFB is the ultimate stock replacement carburetor. Easy swap to any 196 and 212 clone style engines. guaranteed more hp than any stock carb no matter how much blueprinting you do. This carb is a good upgrade bone stock but it really shines with a stage 1 kit. Our dyno shows 10% hp gain over any stock carb and our TCT we currently sell with the stage 1 kit. This carb is bigger and easy to use.. These come tuned for our stage 1 Tillotson engine but will work for all stage 1 engines with little to no adjustments.

Don't waste your...
Stepped up from the tct thinking it would compliment all the upgrades I did to the engine. I was wrong. Venturi size is the same as tct so that translates to "main jet" size being bigger and that's all. Fulcrum arm is that opens butterfly is plastic junk that failed after 2 minutes of operation causing me to have to make a z bent rod out of tig filler rod. Screen in emulsion tube was restricting fuel flow to the point of starvation and I had to remove it. I had to stretch the needle spring to get it to stop overflowing the bowl with gravity feed from the fuel tank. Holds idle well but that's all. Adjusting the "air fuel mix screw" results in lean one way with great throttle response off idle but won't reach full engine rpm. Turn screw the other way and response is terrible off idle, backfires from too much fuel after throttle chop, reaches full rpm but won't stay a constant idle after throttle release similar to an air leak. I'm using vp 110 fuel so I know it's not that. I've swapped back to the tct with better results but lacking power only to go back to tcb to be further disappointed. Too much trouble than it's worth. Between the 2 carbs I've wasted $100 when I could've gotten a true mikuni and not a chi-kuni. Some have good results and I don't know how.

Good carb.
I have used the TFB carb on several motors on my Mokai boats. The carb is easy to tune and produces good power and great torque through the entire throttle range. Use a good filter, as even tiny debris in the carb can affect performance.

Disappointed………
This is not a good fit for 196 clone. I used an a/f guage to tune it to 14.7 a/f, has a dead spot (goes really lean)about 1.5 sec into accel, I tried a lot of different a/f ratios and cannot tune that dead spot out. If I lean it (15-15.2a/f ratio)out it stalls, if I add fuel (14.2-13.8a/f ratio)it stalls at this dead spot. It stalls with the lightest of pressure on the mixture adjustment, something has to be wrong with this carb. The biggest disappointment……….it has less power at wide open throttle than the old huayi carb that came with it, which is not what I was expecting. Lesson learned……….mikuni only for carbs if you want adjustments and performance. I like go power sports…….but my tilliston carb experience leaves me just kicking myself for just not getting a mikuni.

You guys never...
I just got back into the mini bike game and gopower sports never fails to keep me in clutch with amazing quality parts! If I could run you guys as a sponsor for my upcoming channel I would definitely love to!! My mini chopper wouldn't come together as quick as it has if you guys weren't available to help me out. Thanks a ton!!

The TFB is AMAZING!
This is a great upgrade for stage 1 and up 212's, all I had to do is tad the idle up a little and no tuning was even necessary on it for it to run great on my stage 1 ish predator, really responsive and more fuel-power and easy adjustable/tunable!

Amazing and easy to...
This carb is pretty cool, its so much easier to tune than a conventional carburetor. But I've found, at least with mine that I can only tune it one way. By that I mean if I tune it to idle great it'll have a little bit of stumble at wide open high rpm. Or if I tune it for wide open high rpm it doesn't idle very good. I also had to add a pulse pump because it wouldn't let me go wide open for longer than 15-20 seconds before the bowl emptied, wheras it was fine with my stock carb and a couple holes drilled in the filler cap. But with all that out of the way, the power increase and throttle response are amazing for a $40 part. I would definitely recommend, and maybe tillotson could do something about the tuning issues, maybe instead of just one jet they could add a tunable pilot jet
