Sketchy...
Purchased one of these brand new from GPS. Never cracked open the engine, never took out the governor, or messed with it internally in any way. Did a proper break-in procedure and everything. VM22 carburetor and a long header (very basic setup). After the break-in and swapping to fresh oil. Took a 5 minute ride and everything ran fine as it should. I can say, it's much more powerful than a Predator. Couple days later I took another ride. Didn’t even make it 3 minutes down the road and it wouldn't accelerate anymore. It would idle, but giving it any gas would kill it. I thought it was a carb issue. Walked the bike home and started checking everything. Ended up taking off the valve cover and finding something interesting. The push rod popped out of its socket on the rocker! I've never seen this happen on any of my minibike engines. The rocker, valve, and push rod are all fine and nothing is bent. It popped out maybe only halfway into the RPM range.. I was able to pop the push rod back into the rocker, and the engine runs again, but who knows when this will happen again.. It's pretty startling to see a push rod just randomly disconnect from the rocker arm. Are the tolerances really that bad, or am I missing something? These motors have been hyped up as "bulletproof" for years. Idk.

My first...
My brother in law has a Tillotson and the power of the engine is just something else. Love how it works smoothly. Can’t wait to put it on the bike and go

My 1st...
Purchased the Tillotson 212 after doing some research on it as I've never owned one. I installed it on my MM212 and it didn't sound or feel right. Contacted customer service and after some discussions they sent me another carb. That solved the problem and I was so impressed with it I purchased another one. Great little power plant and great customer service.

Awesome...
Last winter I picked up a doodle bug and chose this engine I put an exhaust and a aem filter on it, did the zip tie trick for the mods and I’ve recorded it hitting 47mph.

Woo, fantastic engines!
Bought 3 of these engines, all had no issues out of the box. They replaced 3 196cc engines, two different builders and blew both out of the water with low end torque/power. Two went to MB200s and the 3rd a MB200-2 to be modded to a stage 2. No problem installing on either setup, always starts first pull! Did throw me off the back of the MB200 so be careful, governor was still installed too - very powerful.

Bad...
I have not put it on my bt200x yet gotta get the engine riser for the torque converter but I know it's nice from watching red beards garage.

Well worth...
Has so much torque pfentt of power. I still have it stock. After a little break in I will be modding it I know it will be a beast with minimal effort . It fit right on my Coleman ct 200u
