Jugg-A-Verter Super 30 Series Torque Converter Kit
High-RPM 30 Series torque converter kit for modified engines, racing applications, and serious custom builds.
The Jugg-A-Verter Super 30 Series Torque Converter Kit is a complete high-performance drivetrain system built around the Super 30 Series Juggernaut Driver. Designed for heavily modified engines and high-RPM applications, this asymmetrical torque converter helps reduce engine drag, improve power transfer, and deliver strong acceleration with increased top-end potential.
This kit is intended for experienced builders, racers, and riders running governor-removed, Stage 2, or other performance engines. It is rated for highly modified engines producing up to approximately 15 HP when properly installed and matched to the vehicle.
Racing Tech Note: Is Your Engine Ready?
The Juggernaut driver is designed for high-revving performance. On a completely stock engine governed to approximately 3,600 RPM, this kit may provide little benefit and may not improve top speed.
For best results, pair the Jugg-A-Verter with a governor-removed performance engine, Stage 2 build, or race engine capable of operating above 4,000 RPM. Always confirm that your engine internals, valve train, connecting rod, flywheel, fuel system, and ignition system are suitable for your intended RPM.

The Jugg-A-Verter is a high-performance drivetrain component. These add-ons help you install, tune, protect, and maintain the system:
- Performance Engine: Pair the kit with a Stage 2 Cruiser Performance Kit or Stage 2 Racer Performance Kit.
- Replacement or Spare Belt: Keep an extra 725 Asymmetrical Drive Belt available for maintenance and race-day service.
- Engine Clearance: Compact mini bike installations may require a 1" Engine Riser Kit for crankshaft, belt, and frame clearance.
- Drivetrain Protection: Use the included guard and consider a Clear 30 Series Torque Converter Cover where additional protection or visibility is desired.

Crankshaft and Jackshaft Fitment
- Driver bore: 3/4" crankshaft
- Driven pulley bore: 5/8"
- Driven pulley jackshaft: Designed for compatible 5/8" jackshaft installations
- Jackshaft lock nut: Verify that the lock nut is fully secured before operation
- Crankshaft verification: Measure your engine crankshaft before ordering. Some newer engine blocks may have crankshafts that vary slightly from the nominal 3/4" dimension.
Important: Confirm your crankshaft diameter, keyway, jackshaft diameter, chain size, belt length, engine-to-jackshaft spacing, and frame clearance before installation.
Chain and Sprocket Selection
The included sprocket choice must match your chain. Use the 12-tooth sprocket with #35 chain or the 10-tooth sprocket with #40, #41, or #420 chain. Do not mix chain sizes or install a sprocket that does not match your chain pitch.
Installation and Safety Requirements
Builder Safety Notice
- Follow the torque specifications supplied with the engine and torque converter components.
- Use the correct tools to properly seat and tighten the driver, driven pulley, jackshaft hardware, and retaining nuts.
- Verify that the jackshaft lock nut, clutch hardware, sprocket hardware, and engine mounts are secure before testing.
- Never operate the torque converter without the belt correctly installed and the guard in place.
- Keep hands, clothing, hair, and loose objects away from rotating components.
- After installation, check belt alignment, pulley spacing, chain alignment, throttle return, and brake operation.
Maintenance and Replacement Parts
- Replacement jackshaft bearings: This system uses standard 6003 jackshaft bearings.
- Replacement belt: 725 Asymmetrical Drive Belt.
- Inspect the belt, pulleys, bearings, sprockets, and mounting hardware regularly for wear or damage.
