A Lightweight Foundation for Mini Bike Drag Racing

The Rascal GT Mini Bike Drag Racing Kit is a premium DIY roller kit created for builders who want a lightweight, performance-oriented starting point. The steel Rascal GT frame and fork weigh approximately 22.5 pounds combined, helping reduce chassis weight without giving up the rigid construction required for a performance build.

The Rascal GT features dual-down-tube construction, a honeycomb-style weight-relief design, multiple foot-peg mounting positions, an elevated engine plate, and integrated mounting locations for the included steering stabilizer, aluminum top plate, fuel tank, chain roller, and other racing components.

Premium Douglas DWT aluminum wheels and GPS Racing billet hubs help create a lightweight, true-running wheel package. The included hydraulic rear brake, brake disc, low drag handlebars, billet thumb throttle, and ducktail seat complete the kit’s drag-oriented riding position.

The powder-coat option applies to the Rascal GT frame and fork. Aluminum components, hardware, brackets, axle hangers, and other supplied parts retain their standard finishes unless otherwise stated.

Choose Your Rear Slick Tire

• 10.5 x 4.50-6 Slick Tire: A lower-profile option for a compact drag-bike stance.
• 13 x 5-6 Slick Tire: A taller and wider rear-tire option.

Rear tire size changes the finished bike’s ride height, effective gearing, ground clearance, and available component clearance. Select your rear tire based on your intended gearing and race configuration.

Throttle compatibility: The two supplied throttle cables are intended to support several common slide-carburetor sizes. Final compatibility and throttle travel depend on the carburetor selected. The installer must set the throttle stop correctly and verify that the throttle closes automatically when released.

Choose one drivetrain: Install either a compatible clutch or torque converter. Both are not used together. Your clutch or torque converter, chain pitch, sprocket, axle alignment, and gearing must all be selected as a compatible system.

This is a hands-on builder’s kit. Wheel preparation, drilling, bearing installation, component alignment, brake adjustment, throttle adjustment, and other assembly work are required.

Things to Know Before Ordering

• This is an unassembled roller kit that requires tools and mechanical ability.
• The wheel mounting holes must be drilled from 1/4" to 5/16" when using the supplied 5/16" mounting hardware.
• Bearings must be installed straight and fully seated in their hubs.
• The steering stabilizer must be properly centered and adjusted before operation.
• The hydraulic brake system may require alignment, bleeding, and adjustment during assembly.
• The rear sprocket and chain must be selected to match the intended chain pitch and gearing.
• Always mock up the engine and drivetrain before painting a bare-steel frame.
• Minor drilling, filing, deburring, shimming, or adjustment may be required.
• Powder coat may need to be carefully removed from threaded holes, grounding points, bearing surfaces, or close-tolerance mounting locations.
• Verify wheel, axle, sprocket, chain, brake, steering, and throttle alignment before every use.
