The ultimate 7HP drop-in powerplant for your custom Go-Kart or Minibike.
The 212cc Electric Start Engine delivers reliable, industrial-grade power with the ultimate convenience. Push-button electric start means no more pulling your shoulder out on the starting line, while the built-in recoil pull-start ensures you are never left stranded. Featuring a standard 3/4" horizontal keyed shaft and low oil shutdown, this 4-stroke engine is built for durability and ready to bolt onto almost any custom project.
Wake Up This Engine (Required & Recommended Add-Ons)
Don't leave horsepower on the table or get stuck without the right parts. Grab these essential bolt-ons to finish your build right:
- The Required Clutch: You need a 3/4" bore clutch to put this power to the ground.
• Running a #35 chain? Get the 12T GPS Centrifugal Clutch (#35).
• Running a heavier #420 chain? Grab the 10T GPS Centrifugal Clutch (#420). - The Power Upgrade: Instantly unlock 2-3 more horsepower, a much more aggressive sound, and a higher top speed. Add the Stage 1 Performance Kit. Note: To let this Stage 1 kit breathe, you must also add a Custom Header Pipe.
- The Lifeblood (Oil): These ship completely dry. Do not smoke a brand new motor before it even hits the dirt. Grab Tillotson Break-In Oil for the first run, and standard 4-Stroke Oil to keep it screaming long-term.
- The Battery (Crucial): To utilize the electric start feature, you need power. Grab the YTX5L Sealed Battery (custom wiring setup will be required by the builder).

BUILDER'S TECH NOTE: Compatibility
The Lifan 212cc Electric Start Engine features a Non-Hemi Head, but it utilizes a Honda Clone bottom end. This means the vast majority of 196cc Clone bottom-end performance parts will bolt right up when you are ready to start building for the track.
