The bike itself is very heavy duty, the stage 1 kit for the tillotson 212 is very easy to install and the engine itself is easy to install on the bike. My only gripes are the lack of labeling on the hardware bags and very vague instructions. There was missing hardware that I had to replace as well. Other than that, it is a very good bike!
Havent finished putting it together yet but so far it has been very nice from instructions to the parts
Mega Moto 212 Complete Minibike Kit
Best mini bike I've ever owned! And I've owned a ton! Definitely ordering a second I'm due time
This was a great Father Son project! The kit is a great value and is well built. The only issue we had was the kit did not have a crank bolt to install the clutch drive and the bolts for the belt drive cover that came with the kit are metric and do not fit the Tillotson engine. It does state this in the frame kit description, but not in the kit that includes the engine and stage 1 kit.Not a big deal $5 at Lowes for the right stuff. I also went on line and found an LED bulb for the headlight. The bulb type is S2. Followed the video on website and it works great!
All great service and products I’d have so say absolutely as far as recommendations I would like to see a more thorough stage 1 kit instructions and better close up video
First off I just wanted to say FedEx delivery is as trash, Box was destroyed he was completely dragging the box to the door frame had scratches no biggie. But I was missing some parts form the Kit Pacman washer , Clutch Bolt for torque converter, in which GPS did send out to me so thank you. So after riding the bike I loved it but then I noticed that some the Parts are just cheap Chinese parts. My ignition Box Is already broken fell apart as I was riding. The Headerpipe I had to clean up the welds to the nuts not able to fit properly. The Exhaust clamp they give broke muffler fell off aswell. was a lil disappointing in the kit but Overall the Frame great feels so comfortable and love the seat.
The kit has been fun to put together except for a few missing pieces of hardware. The kit specifically comes with the Tillitson 212 and Stage 1 kit, so without the hardware, it really is an incomplete kit. You have to swap the air box acorn style nuts for the gas tank nuts in the Stage 1 kit, to attach the air filter adapter. The acorn nuts do not clear one side of the starter housing on the engine. Another issue is with the transmission cover brackets. They send you M8 bolts but tell you in the video if you have a Tillitson, you need 5/16-24. Why not just supply the correct bolts if it’s coming with engine? And finally, you need a longer crank shaft bolt. Again, I’m not sure why they didn’t just send one with the kit. I’m still putting this together after sourcing Tempe hardware myself. Over all, good kit with a few missteps.
Just getting use too it need too make lights easier too connect
This is a long way away from the old Briggs 3.5 flat head of my youth, my God the power this thing has, now the old Briggs would climb any hill in San Fransisco, that was in 1971 on 91 regular. I have the Mega Moto 212 running on 87 regular. I live at 3400 feet above sea level so it didn't like the bigger jet, so I'm running the stock one. I have a 1/4 mile of wash and this little bike fly's! I parked it a 1/2 hour ago and I still can't get the smile off my face, in fact it made a 65 year old man feel like a 12 year old kid again, when I walked into the house my wife made comment as to the look on my face. I have been ridding since the summer of 1967 so I know a little something about bikes, this think is a flat out blast to ride. Get the dual charging coils if you want to run the light or charge a battery, I did. I did have some problems with the shipment, the box looked like it was drop shipped, from about a 1000 feet up and the frame has some deep scrapes on it, some missing parts, Go Power Sports took care of those. The Tillotson 212 engine seems to be a good little engine and starts right up, two pulls and it has plenty of power, I did a little hill climbing with it today. Buy it, it fun to build and even more fun to ride.....
