Mega Moto 80 Adapter Plate (196cc / 212cc / 225cc Engines)
The easiest way to engine-swap your Mega Moto 80 Mini Bike Frame.
Ready to ditch the stock 79cc engine and drop some serious power into your minibike? This heavy-duty steel adapter plate allows you to bolt a Tillotson, Predator, or Honda Clone engine (196cc, 212cc, or 225cc) directly onto your Mega Moto 80, 105, or E1000 frame—no cutting or welding required!
Plate Features & Details:
- Perfect Chain Alignment: Features slotted mounting holes so you can easily slide the engine forward or backward to dial in your chain tension when running a standard Centrifugal Clutch.
- Torque Converter Ready: Includes an extra set of pre-drilled holes designed specifically to mount our GoPowerSports Fully Adjustable Motor Plate (#GPSFAMP). (Note: You will need BOTH plates if you plan to run a 30 Series Torque Converter Kit).
What's Included in the Kit:
- (1) Heavy-Duty Steel Bent Adapter Plate
- (8) Sets of 5/16" Mounting Nuts and Bolts (Everything you need to bolt the plate to the frame, and the engine to the plate)
BUILDER'S TECH NOTE: Clearance Modifications Required
Because you are dropping a much larger engine into a compact frame, you must make the following modifications for the engine to fit:
- Gas Tank Relocation: The factory gas tank sitting on top of your new engine will hit the top tube of the frame. You will need to remove it and relocate a new gas tank elsewhere on the bike.
- Air Intake Clearance: The bulky stock airbox will not clear the frame. You MUST run a Stage 1 Performance Kit to switch to a low-profile pod filter.
- Exhaust Clearance: The stock box muffler will not fit. We highly recommend using the Skinny Center Exit Header Pipe or one of our "Build Your Own" header kits to safely route the exhaust out of the frame.
