Build a compact, vintage-style mini bike with the Lil' Rascal 98cc Mini Bike Kit from GoPowerSports. This comprehensive DIY kit combines our American-made Lil' Rascal frame with a dependable 98cc gasoline engine, 6-inch wheels, hydraulic braking and the essential drivetrain, fuel-system and control components needed to complete the build.

The Lil' Rascal was designed to capture the look and feel of a classic old-school mini bike in a compact package. Its low seat height makes it approachable for smaller riders, while its frame proportions and tall handlebars can also accommodate many adult riders. The main frame is constructed from heavy-duty 7/8-inch OD steel tubing with a .120-inch wall.

This is an unassembled mini bike kit intended for customers who enjoy building, maintaining and customizing their own equipment. Assembly, adjustment and a complete safety inspection are required before operation.

If you select a bare-steel frame, we recommend completing a full mock-up before applying paint or powder coat. Minor fitting, alignment or hole adjustments should be completed before the final finish is applied. Any modifications made to a powder-coated frame may require touch-up afterward.

Assembly & Pre-Ride Inspection

This mini bike is shipped as an unassembled kit. The customer is responsible for proper assembly, cable routing, chain alignment, brake adjustment, fastener torque and final inspection. Check that the throttle returns freely, the engine shuts off correctly and the brakes operate properly before every ride.

Recheck all fasteners, axle hardware, wheel hardware, chain tension and brake components after the initial break-in period. Routine inspection and maintenance are required for safe operation.
