Introducing the all new 225cc Tillotson Performance Engine package from GoPowerSports. This is not your run of the mill engine, this is a bored, stroked, and clearanced RACING engine designed for high RPM and high HP. If you have a mini bike, go-kart or drift trike and are wanting more power on the cheap, then look no further! This is the engine for you!

- 72mm Tillotson Block (extra webbing, bracing, and thicker material is built into the casting producing a superior block to any other)
- Bore : 72mm / 2.835"
- Crank : 55mm / 2.165"
- 265 Lift Tillotson Racing Cam (wide power band, great for mini bikes and yard-karts, equipped with compression release)
- Forged Rod with bearings
- Forged, Lightweight Racing Piston
- Tillotson Race Head (Large Ports)
- 27mm Intake Valve
- 25mm Exhaust Valve
- 26lb Valve Springs
- Heavy Duty Retainers with Automotive style keepers
- 22mm AfterMarket Mikuni Carburetor (jetting and tuning will be close but some adjustment may be required)
- Tillotson Racing Coil
- ARC Billet Flywheel
- Governor Removed

- A premium oil, such as Amsoil Synthetic 4T Race Oil
- Mikuni Throttle Cable
- Header Pipe for 196/212/225 Engines
CAUTION!!!! This engine is not for young or inexperienced drivers. These engines are shipped with NO OIL. We recommend a high quality oil designed for splash oil systems such as AmsOil 4T or Tillotson T4 to provide better protection. Always keep 16 ounces of oil in the engine while in use. This is a performance RACE engine package, some assembly is required such as exhaust. This engine does not come with a fuel tank and does not have tabs for mounting a fuel tank.
Break in required!

Pain in the butt to start second time around.
This motor starts usually starts pretty easy for the first ride and has a ton of power/torque, but whenever I shut the motor off, let it sit for a few minutes, it will not start, no matter what I do. I even received a new carburetor, installed it and the same issue persist.

225 performance...
Very surprised of power and torque this motor has, I worked on cars all my life but have downsized to go karts due to aches and pains, LOL. I put this 225 Performance Engine along with your juggernaut torque converter on and just got it running last night, surprised the heck out of me, it is Snappy. You do have to do some grinding on one of the fins of the mounting plate of the torque converter as it hits the oil fill opening, but all in all very satisfied!

Doesn't want to...
I originally had a Predator 212 Ghost motor, and replaced it with this one. The 212 didn't have any issues, and started first pull right out of the box, and didn't take long to break in. This motor didn't want to start; finally got it started after the 7th pull with the throttle at 100%. Then I had to attempt this a few times and had to adjust the screw on the carburetor after the motor kept on dying. After getting it running and riding around; this thing is a beast. But I still have to pull the pull starter 7 or more times just to start the motor. What's the deal?

Out of box powerhouse.
Decided to get serious with my drag racing. This engine landed me at low 10's in the eighth mile. Slam dunk. 10.07 fastest pass, runs great to pull .01 rt. Solid build.

Fun to Epic!!!
Easy instal and soooo much fun on my hurricane! Customer service was awesome to provide bolt sizes and thread type. Combined with a juggernaut and new tank. Transformed my bike and the experience! Now I’m doing wheelees up my hill… almost on purpose :)

Engine is great out the box, it'll out perform anything you can cobble together and is dead nuts reliable... 67mph on a yard Kart in the quarter mile. It'll run faster if gear for Max speed ...

Hell and...
Bolted this on a hurricane 200x. It is next to impossible to start without starting fluid. Ive tried everything with the gopowersports team from checking valve lash(too tight from factory), replacing carb, replacing spark plug, changing the idle jet, draining fuel tank and carb bowl, and still no resolution. Stay away from this engine.
