This is a quality after market reproduction of the Comet made TAV2 Torque converter kit. Designed to be used on Go-karts, Mini-bikes and Wake wrenches with engine sizes 3HP to 7HP with a 3/4" crankshaft. This is a must on live axle go-karts especially those with rear tires larger than 16" tall. A centrifugal clutch will not pull or hold up to these demands. For your convenience this kit comes with both sprockets, a #35 chain 12 tooth sprocket and the #41/40/420 chain with the #10 tooth sprocket. (This is not made by Comet)
The Juggernaut is everything the original 30 series drivers lacks under load. No longer do you have to sacrifice your engines power or rpm capabilities! With this new Super 30 Series Driver, you can take full advantage of a high HP high RPM small block engine (196/212/225) up to 15hp, the HP rating may vary due to the application.
The Super 30 Series Driver is compatible with ALL 3/4" bore 30 series Torque Converter kits. You can use the same belt, driven, and belt cover. This driver is recommended to be used with higher RPM engines, Stage 2 or higher. On a stock motor running at 3600 RPM you will NOT see any difference in performance and it may effect top end MPH. Running 4000+ RPM is where the Juggernaut shines. Please ensure the jackshaft nut is torqued down before use. Do not overtighten or you will damage the bearing.
**Do not run without a belt**
This is an asymmetrical type torque converter system which means the sheave faces are non-symmetrical. They have different angles. In this case, the movable sheave face is 18° while the stationary sheave face is 2 1/2° for a collective angle of 20 1/2°. Here are some reasons for selecting the asymmetrical concept: The Asymmetric concept operates on an in-line principal with the torque sensing cam in an outboard attitude. Only this system is designed to operate this way, thus providing the proper alignment for the final drive chain to be on the same side of the vehicle as the P.T.O. This offers some very significant advantages to mounting requirements in many cases. The asymmetric concept, having the 18° angle on one side requires less sheave face travel to lift the belt to larger, comparable pitch diameters of the symmetrical system. This makes it possible to force the belt to a diameter within the drive clutch (at high RPM) that exceeds the usual 1:1 ratio of standard systems. The TAV can actually attain an .90:1 or 10% overdrive.
Some of the newer Predator engines are coming with a crankshaft that is slightly bigger than 3/4" (.750"). Please mic your crankshaft before ordering.

- We recommend you use an impact when installing these parts. Failure to do so may result in the torque converter coming apart and possible injury.

If you have a Coleman ct200u-ex frame, it will not fit even with the riser kit added. You will need to make a mount to make it higher to clear the back of the frame. And I have a stage 2 predator 212 on it.

If you want to launch like a top fuel dragster and rip past all your friends into sweet sweet victory, then this is for you. Make sure your hat is backwards, sunglasses on a leash and shoes tied tight or else you will leave them behind. Pro tip #103 : always look behind you before doing a burn out in gravel

I have yet to install this kit, but I have reached out to GoPowerSports about it and the help I’ve received is above and beyond. This kit looks good, and the Juggernaut clutch looks mean. I am in the middle of building my project right now, but I am ready to see this Jugg-A-Verter in action!

So Much...
Absolutely awesome when upgrading from a clutch! This thing has so much more power and most definitely increases my speed. It was fairly easy to install on my RT 200 mini bike, however, I do with that the cover (blue cover) would have came pre-nitched for the chain because I had some difficulty making it fit...but eventually got it. Good stuff.
