Trail master was delivered in perfect condition. ...
Trail master was delivered in perfect condition. I really liked the packaging method “steel frame”. The instructions to assemble were good but illustration pictures were poor. I managed ok though. I did have problems installing front brake caliper. Holes did not line up adequately. Other than that, it was perfect. Started on second pull. Very happy so far. I have not installed the performance kit yet. Tried it out and very happy. I hope the performance kit adds even more power. I hope to get another soon.

Bike stopped running after second day riding...
Was blasting threw trails and down the road all good until i just come around a bend, the bike starts to sputtering then just died. It now has no compression when pulling to start. Anyone have any suggestions what the problem may be? Oil level and gas is all good.

Packaging was rough, front brake needed some work.
Wedge was stuck between brake pads and needed some convincing to get out. Oil also leaked everywhere during shipping. But as far as the bike, it’s worth it. Great for trailing and if your just looking to go out for a local ride. One thing you MUST do when you ride is back out the governor screw on the throttle linkage. Adjusting this screw will allow you to change your throttle play, and the further it is backed out the faster the bike will ride. I left about 3 threads left in and i had to be doing atleast 40-45mph stock. Bike was definitely better than i expected.

Best features of any minibike around, but like...
Off the truck impression: no pallet base under the slightly dinged up shipping frame, but the bike inside arrived with no damage. There was not even a scratch that I could see. That was a very good first impression. Assembly: There is not much to do before you are off and running, took maybe an hour at a leisurely pace to assemble. The front fender bracket had to be bent to match the contour of the fender and align it properly so there was no rubbing on the forks. This was easy to accomplish with a claw hammer and some patient trial and error. The front brake caliper was clamped onto the pad-protecting plastic insert too tightly to allow removal of the protection for installation of the caliper over the disk, probably caused by the brake lever being compressed in the packing process and throughout shipping. I had to let off pressure at the upper end of the line and then add more DOT 4 fluid to the reservoir; now it needs to be bled so I can get effective brake action. The front wheel and rear shocks went on with no problems. The oil level was perfect, will run a few tanks of fuel through the bike before I replace it. It seems as good as any minibike oil considering the engine will be stock for awhile. Riding Impressions: Obviously the rear suspension is a huge improvement compared to a hardtail. I don't see a need to replace the stock shocks even though I am currently about 210 lbs and ride entirely offroad. I have taken some decent bumps at speed and haven't noticed any bottoming out. The front foot pegs are disappointing. My front left peg mounting hole stretched to an absurd degree, like at least 2.5x the original diameter, leaving it dangling a bit towards the ground and flopping around. The inner portion that is supposed to act as a stop against the mounting bar also folded in and warped badly. This happened after only about an hour or so of riding with the bike in stock form, and I didn't put my full weight on the peg either. I discovered that the rear peg will not swap into the front peg mount as the portion where it mounts is shorter and the hole is closer to the peg. This means the rear peg cannot sit far enough inside the front mount for the holes to align and the inside is too short to act as a stop if it could anyway. It is unclear what peg if any currently sold here is a match for the 200X front pegs. I will probably be figuring out an upgraded peg so the issue doesn't come up again. The mid-mount upgrade sold here seems worthwhile, but I would definitely not trust the stock pegs to bear the added load. The torque converter is a little rough. It engages late when reapplying throttle from idle while coasting at low speed, like upon exiting a slow corner. This makes the slow speed handling a bit unpredictable and lacking in finesse. I will either clean and lube the driver to try and fix or simply replace it with a Comet unit or the Juggernaught. It's not too bad as is but does hamper my trail riding and would be more of a problem with increased engine power. The engine is nice for a 196cc. It is the quietest and smoothest motor I've ever received on a stock bike, although my CT200U's 196 seemed a little stronger. This could be due to the weight added by all the features of the 200X such as the better braking systems and suspension. This bike has very beefy front forks, thicker tube diameter than my 200U-EX. It is very cool to observe the slack in the front hydraulic line play in and out as the fork moves through it's range of travel. Make sure your thoughtfully designed bracket that routes the line is positioned so that there is still some slack at full droop. The added weight I mentioned is noticeable when changing directions, but the bike still handles transitions very well. It is just a slightly different feel than I am used to from simpler bikes. I will definitely be upgrading this engine or swapping it out once all the little issues I covered are sorted out. This bike has better potential than anything else out there in the mini world, but it is pushing the definition of a mini IMO. The price overlaps with some 125 to 140cc dirt bikes sold on Amazon, so it would be nice to see this bike come with a 212 or even the Wildcat 223 in stock form. To close on a 100% positive note, the tires are awesome and look aggressive. It is nice to see a new tread design that is versatile and should have great longevity.

Awesome
Ordered on Sunday, showed up in my driveway Thursday. Originally thought it'd be Christmas present for the 9yr old. Now it looks like we're ordering another for the Mrs, and finding something a little smaller for the kids.

Still rolling fine after (roughly) 15 hours usage.
This 200X remains with the factory drivetrain intact. We've ventured in a few different environments, and hills, with little pushback. It's no CR500, but it gets you there eventually. Tank-like. I'm starting to load it down with 'stuff'. Here's a video of a high altitude run, you can see how it rolls for yourself. RUGER
